Sir Paul Adams KNZM, CNZM, C.F.INST.DSor Paul qualified as a Civil Engineer in 1969 in Wellington, and went on to develop a career in civil engineering contracting, not only representing the New Zealand Contractors Federation on various committees, but also commencing his own practice in civil engineering becoming heavily involved in Arbitration and Contract Law.
From 1990 to date, under his company 'Carrus Corporation Limited', he has built up one of the largest land development operations in the Bay of Plenty with The Lakes being his latest acquisition, and branched out to other areas including Rotorua, Taupo, Hamilton, Palmerston North and Wellington.
Sir Paul was voted 2013 Westpac Business Leader of the Year in the Bay of Plenty, was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand order of Merit for his services to business and philanthropy and more recently has been appointed a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to philanthropy and the community.
Scott is General Manager of Carrus Properties, and also Managing Director of all of our residential land developments and commercial development companies. He is ultimately responsible for all Carrus subdivisions throughout the North Island together with being responsible for the buildings we own.
Scott has a BMS from University of Waikato and an MSc. from London Southbank University.
Di SissonDi is the Administrative Manager and has been in Paul's employ since moving to Tauranga in 1988. Her duties are varied within the group of Carrus entities and include all secretarial functions, company regulatory tasks associated with each of the companies in the Adams' group, payroll, debtors and creditors and undertakes production of monthly financial data for the companies.
Di also co-ordinates the Sales, Marketing and Advertising for each of the developments, maintains the website and is responsible for preparation of all Sales and Purchase Agreements in Carrus' developments as well as assisting with promotional/marketing campaigns.
Kerrie RippeyKerrie is the Property Manager for the Carrus Group of Companies. She is responsible for ensuring that all dwellings and properties meet the covenants and inspects and approves all house and landscaping plans for houses being erected in each of the subdivisions.
Kerrie undertakes the processing of debtors/creditors and monthly financial data for the Lakes development as well as assisting in the preparation of the annual financial accounts for the many Carrus entities. Kerrie is also our Health and Safety Officer, co-ordinating policies and procedures within the organisation.
Annalisa ShepherdAnnalisa is our part-time Consultant, assisting Kerrie with covenant inquiries. Annalisa has worked at The Lakes for the past 8 years and has an indepth knowledge of the area as a whole.
