Autumn at The Lakes - simply stunning...
So it seems that after a wonderfully long warm summer (that didn't seem to want to end), Autumn is now poking its head around the corner and scattering the ground with the last of the coloured leaves.Our residents and visitors have certainly made the most of the sun-shining, t-shirt-and-short-wearing, ice cream-eating days with plenty of people out and about: strolling, jogging or walking the dog.
Come & enjoy our new playground
Thanks to the favourable climate over the summer months, we have made significant advances on earthworks and construction on future stages at The Lakes and builders alike have been kept very busy constructing showhomes and residences for new owners...
But.. most notably The Pinnacle - Benmore Crescent is now complete and the much-anticipated playground is now open just in time for the kids to enjoy the crisper days and run off some energy before winter kicks in.

If the numbers through our Sales Pavilion are an indicator of the health of the building industry, then there's good times ahead for Tauranga and the New Zealand economy in general. At last count, we had sixty houses currently under construction in the subdivision and many more planned! That's sixty new families who are getting ready to enjoy all that The Lakes has to offer.
BNZ Tony Alexander’s recent Residential Market Survey Results show that there is still a shortage of existing stock in the market with a comment stating that "although buyers remain determined and want a property, they may increasingly despair of finding one". Fortunately, The Lakes is well positioned to satisfy such demand. With 190 lots sold in the last 11 months, we are meeting the market and our new release in "Central" (Ellesmere Close 2N) is coming very soon. With its close proximity to the proposed shopping centre, we are already receiving enquiries for these sections - so if you have an interest or have relatives or friends interested, please tell them to get in soon to talk to us.

Free Family Fun - have you tried our free orienteering courses?
Some of the most popular activities at The Lakes are our free orienteering courses which incorporate many of our walkways and cycleways. These were put in place to encourage families to 'come out and have a go'. There's a course for every age group, and there's lots of fun and family bonding to be had on the way! You can click on the link to download the free PDF instructions and map, or call in to see us anytime at the Sales Pavilion.
