Southern Star Vodka


10 Fresh Mint Leaves
half a lime cut into 4 wedges
2 T white sugar, or to taste
1 cup of Ice
60mls of Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
half a cup of soda

Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge into a glass or cocktail shaker. Use a muddler to crush the mint and lime to release the mint oils and lime juice.

Add 2 more lime wedges and the sugar, and muddle again to release the lime juice. Do not strain the mixture.
Fill with ice. Pour the vodka over the ice, and add the soda water. Stir, taste, and add more sugar if desired. Garnish with the remaining lime wedge & fresh mint.
For a sweeter brew replace the Soda with Lemonade.

Angel Hair Pasta with Spicy Vodka Sauce

8 garlic cloves, sliced thinly
4 medium shallots, sliced thinly
8 fresh oregano sprigs
2 small dried red chiles, crumbled
1 1/4 cups Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
1.4kg tomatoes
250g spaghetti or angel hair pasta
Salt & Pepper
Fresh Herbs
Parmesan Cheese

Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the garlic and shallots, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes. Add the oregano and chilles and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Remove the saucepan from the heat, carefully add the vodka, scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, and stir to incorporate. Return the saucepan to the stove, reduce the heat to medium, and add the tomatoes. Cook, stirring rarely, until the tomatoes begin to collapse and let off juice, about 40 minutes. Break up some of the tomatoes with the back of a spoon, leaving some whole. Remove the sauce from the heat and discard the oregano sprigs.

Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook it according to the package directions. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking water. Return the pasta to the pot and toss it with the tomato sauce and reserved cooking water until it’s well coated. Season with additional salt and pepper if necessary and serve with fresh herbs and parmesan.


2 shots Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
1 shot Prenzel Sour Apple Schnapps
1 shot ginger ale
Splash of Lime Juice

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with apple slice.


30ml Southern Star Vodka
30ml Prenzel Coffee Liqueur
15ml Prenzel Butterscotch Cream
1 banana
60ml cream

Blend with ice and serve in cocktail glass.

Black Russian

30ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
30ml Prenzel Coffee Liqueur
Top with coke

Place ice in tumbler. Add above ingredients.

Coffee Polar Bear

45ml Prenzel Coffee Liqueur
30ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

Blend the above ingredients and then pour into a martini glass.

Crimea Cooler

45ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
15ml Prenzel Creme de Cassis Liqueur
90ml Grapefruit juice
Ginger ale

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice (except ginger ale) then serve in a tumbler and top with the ginger ale.

Decadent Easter Cocktail

2 Tbsp drinking chocolate
1 1/2 cups ice cold milk
50ml Prenzel Butterscotch Cream
50ml Prenzel Butterscotch Schnapps
25ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
1 cup crushed ice

Whisk drinking chocolate and milk until dissolved. Add Butterscotch Cream, Butterscotch Schnapps and Vodka. Mix well to combine.
Fill cocktail glasses 2/3 of the way with crushed ice and pour over chocolate mixture. Serve immediately.

Dracula's Kiss

1 part Southern Star Vodka
1/2 part Prenzel Creme de Cassis Liqueur

Put Creme de Cassis in glass and coat bottom of glass. Add ice, Southern Star Vodka and top up with coke. Add cherries for garnish.

Extreme Lemon Aid

1 part Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
1 part Prenzel Lemon Ice Liqueur

Mix altogether in a glass over ice. Garnish with lemon wedge.

Frog in a Blender

45ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
30ml Prenzel Peach Scnhapps
Orange Juice
Splash Prenzel Creme de Cassis Liqueur

Combine the Prenzel Southern Star Vodka, Prenzel Peach Schnapps, orange juice and ice in a cocktail shaker then pour into a tumbler. Add a splash of Prenzel Creme de Cassis just before serving.

Fuzzy Navel

45ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
45ml Prenzel Peach Schnapps
Orange juice to fill

Combine with cracked ice.

White Russian

30ml Prenzel Southern Star Vodka
30ml Prenzel Coffee Liqueur
60ml milk
Grated nutmeg to garnish
