Our favourite 2019 ERO Comments:
Warm and respectful relationships are evident between all involved in the service. A recent initiative aimed at building parent, teacher and child relationships supports younger children to successfully transition into the kindergarten. Teachers apply consistent strategies and respond appropriately to nurture each child's social and emotional competence. Children play capably with, and alongside each other. They display a sense of belonging and ownership.View full 2019 ERO report here.

Testimonial:
“We feel so grateful to have such an amazing local kindergarten for our son. The teachers have such a great rapport with the children, so understanding of all the different little personalities and they really notice their small idiosyncrasies-they are fantastic! It’s also great to see they have such a positive working relationship with each other. The kindy is super organised with new thoughtful activities for the children to engage in each day but at the same time having plenty of opportunity for free play. I feel the teachers are always going over and beyond to introduce new and positive ideas such as mindfulness classes, amazing!
There is really a sense of community of Te Awanga Kindergarten with parents always welcome, our son just loves it and so do we!”
