What was your faourite part of your Wedding day:The ceremony itself, that was probably my first part.  The anticipation and the excitement of the day beginning!  All your guests eagerly awaiting your arrival, getting to walk down the aisle with my Dad…the smile (and tears) from your future husband as he sees you for the first time.  It was all pretty surreal and amazing at the same time.


What would you recommend to other brides who are choosing Lake Taupo as their Wedding Destination: 1.  Have your ceremony as early as possible – the day goes so fast, so drag it out as much as you can.   2.  Don’t skimp on a photographer – your photos are the only thing you have left once the day is over, and you will pour over those photos for the rest of your life.    3.  Hire a videographer or a friend to video the ceremony and speeches.   The day is a bit of a blur, and it is great to be able to re-live it over and over again.


Other comments: Taupo offers the most amazing photo locations.  Spend some time before hand researching your options and make sure they are close to your wedding venue.   You don’t need to just get married in Summer! We got married in Autumn, and the colours were beautiful.  Things are cheaper out of season too!
