What was your faourite part of your Wedding day:If I had to choose I would say the ceremony was my favourite; with the rain pouring on the morning of, we had to move the ceremony to the woods at Tongariro Lodge so it was more sheltered and it turned out to be an even better location. The venue managed to set everything up including the audio equipment so my mum and cousin could sing ‘Amazed’ by Lonestar following the ceremony and I still got my favourite Florence and the Machine song playing while walking down the isle. It was so amazing to share our love for each other in such a beautiful setting in front of our family and friends. Everything went off with out a hitch!


What would you recommend to other brides who are choosing Lake Taupo as their Wedding Destination: Always make sure you have plenty of money up your sleeve for the week of the wedding. You will be surprised how many things pop up which need to be paid for to ensure the day is perfect.
Also, make sure you have a very organized MC. My MC was one of my Best friends and he was amazing. He literally ran the whole show on the day, which meant we could relax and enjoy our special day.


Other comments: The girls at Event Rent were really amazing with their fab collection of Wedding props and things to make those finishing touches. Everything was so easy to organize and the props we hired looked amazing.
Also I couldn’t have asked for better photographers, K&S Photography – Krystle and Sheree are absolutely amazing. They really think about EVERYTHING, down to a little send off gifts for our honeymoon and the photos are spectacular. If you are planning a wedding in Taupo definitely pick these girls, we love them!
