Hot off the heels of the Reed Gift Fair in Melbourne earlier this month, we recently exhibited our new Decadence and Botanicals ranges, available in stores late 2011, at the New York International Gift Fair.
We were extremely honoured to have received an EX•TRACTS Best Packaging Award for our Decadence range. The award follows our EX•TRACTS Best New Product win earlier in the year for our Vanilla Bean Body Nourisher.
The Decadence range pays homage to powerful women of the 1920s, an era later referred to as the Art-Deco period, which was defined by unprecedented social change and women’s liberation.
Widely acknowledged as the most creative era of the 20th Century, the Art-Deco period is the inspiration behind the bold and artistic packaging of the range.
The cities of London, Paris, New York and Shanghai grew to embrace and exemplify the Art-Deco world of the 1920’s and ‘Decadence by Ecoya’ celebrates the contribution made by four women who epitomised these cities.
“We’re very proud to release a range of products that pays homage to the empowerment of women. Decadence is bold and stylish and embodies so much of what we stand for at ECOYA,” said ECOYA CEO Craig Schweighoffer.
In addition to the EX•TRACTS award-winning Decadence range, the NYIGF was the platform to showcase our Botanicals range to the world.
‘Botanicals’ by ECOYA draws heavily upon the work of Sir Joseph Banks for inspiration, with a unique collection of fragrances based upon the same plants harvested from New Zealand and Australia during Captain Cook’s epic journey of discovery.
Details, including pricing, fragrances and stockists for Decadence and Botanicals by Ecoya will be confirmed closer to release, which is planned for late 2011.
