CEO Update

getimage911195

Dear Colleagues,

Today, I am one of the speakers at the Royal Aeronautical Society annual symposium, Flying in Formation.  I am always inspired by how much passion, smarts, and expertise there is in our aviation industry.  Our key opportunity is to harness that as successfully as possible so NZ continues to punch above its weight on the global stage.

Unfortunately, another domestic aviation accident in the headlines this week. And the search for MH370 continues. An opportune time for us to consider the subject of resilience engineering and its role within system safety.  We’ll be exploring this concept at the Aviation Leadership Summit.

Many thanks to all of you who took the time to complete our survey. We’ll announce the winner of free entry to the Aviation Leadership Summit next week and we’ll share the results with you at the end of April.

Great to see the first Air NZ 787-9 unveiled this week in Seattle.  Another great example of Kiwi leadership on the world stage.

Until next week.

Samantha
